Stellar Event & Presentation Resources, Inc. Acquires Abbey Event Services in Southern California

August 28, 2000, HOUSTON, TX – Stellar Event & Presentation Resources, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Abbey Event Services (AES), a leading provider of event rentals and services to a wide variety of customers throughout Southern California. AES combined with the Stuart Rental Company in Northern California and Alford Media Services in Los Angeles, expands Stellar’s capabilities on the West Coast ranking it as one of the major suppliers to the event industry.

Abbey Event Services is the Southern California successor of Abbey Rents that was founded in 1924. With three locations in Southern California - Los Angeles County, South Bay and Inland Empire - AES provides all the items necessary to properly host a special event, party, meeting, convention or festival. Some of the major products provided by AES include clear span fabric structures, tents, chairs, tables, canopies, staging, lighting, linens, china and glassware.
